This week I celebrated 6 years of huge personal change. It’s 6 years since I stopped drinking alcohol.
At nearly 45, my life looks very different than it once did. I don’t often share my personal story here but this feels very important.
Please believe change is possible even when it feels out of reach. Therapy played a vital role in helping me understand myself more deeply. Learning to rebuild the trust in my choices, and grow into the life I wanted but didn’t believe I could have.
Making change isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, one choice at a time or even one day at a time. The early days can be tough. Even the early years. It then becomes lifestyle and that can be so magical.
If you’re starting again, feeling stuck, or wondering if change is even possible for you…it is!!
I’d love to know where you are at in your journey? How are you finding things? Change on all levels can uncover emotions that can be tough.
Look after yourself. Michelle 🤍
